The team behind popular The Greenwood American Bistro has struck again.

Edmonds-based Model Restaurant Group has opened its second restaurant — Robin’s Restaurant and Market — in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Model describes the restaurant as a “casual dining experience.” Wines will be sourced from Bellevue’s Story in a Bottle.

Model Restaurant Group was founded last year by hospitality veterans Chef Grant Rico and Or’el Anbar, who met while running in the woods behind their culinary school. Rico previously served as executive chef at Hitchcock Restaurant Group and Seabird, both on Bainbridge Island, while Anbar, a chef who began his career cooking in New York City restaurants, has spent time on the management side.

Since its opening last fall, The Greenwood American Bistro has quickly become one of Seattle’s go-to restaurants known for its creative menu options (sugarkelp pita) and its focus on seasonal Pacific Northwest ingredients.
