If the recent glimpse of sunny weather hasn’t given you hope that spring is near then a visit to West Seattle’s always funky and fun Clementine is in order. I popped in last week and found warmer weather inspiration in their newly arriving spring inventory. The first standout item was their small but growing selection of West Seattle-based Chemical Wedding clutches and handbags—featured in our 2009 shopping issue—made from lovingly worn-in new and recycled leather ($168-$260). Also on display were several looks from Prairie Underground’s durable yet comfortable spring line. I was especially drawn to their romper ($164), a cute and comfortable spin on the 70s classic. Swing by next weekend when online boutique La Rousse brings its pop-up shop (2/25-2/28) to Clementine. Two amazing shops at once? We’ll be ready for spring in no time!

Clementine, 4447 California Ave. SW; 206.935.9400
