She is riveting. But there’s lots more to like in this production–notably Sheila Daniels’ clever directorial touches, including her nods to modernity…which I think falls under the category of spoilers. So I won’t say exactly what they are but I will say, go, and stay alert for Aegisthus’s entry, which is perfectly, subtly hilarious, just before the final bloodbath.
