Our sister publication Northwest Home recently reported some exciting news for home design and decor addicts: Noted interior designer Barbara Barry, whose stunningly elegant work focuses on muted tones and simple, yet refined lines, will be at Masins Fine Furnishings & Interior Design in Bellevue on Wednesday, September 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. Barry is here to promote her first-ever book, Barbara Barry: Around Beauty (Rizzoli, 2012; $65 hardcover), which according to its Amazon write up will “explore [Barry’s] design philosophy, meditating on the transformative power of beauty. Through a discussion of her principles of good design—simplicity, proportion, and harmony—we discover how to apply these principles to our rooms and to our lives. Through page after page of gorgeous, subtle, feminine interiors, Barry explains her design process and shares thought-provoking stories.”

Count us in. Head east to meet and greet the design maven and snag her signature to go along with your new home-design tome. To RSVP: Dial 425.450.9999 or email bellevue@masins.com
