NuBe Green’s In-House Line Debuts New Designer Collection
By Seattle Mag May 3, 2012

Designer Adrienne Antonson is one talented lady. Not only does the Vashon Island-based artist craft supremely weird/awesome bugs out of human hair, she happens to be the creative genius behind Capitol Hill shop NuBe Green’s in-house line, State.
The line is crafted from materials sourced within 100 miles of Seattle (including alpaca wool from the designer’s own backyard herd) and was last seen on the runway at The Forecast show in March. Antonson will debut new spring/summer looks from the line tomorrow night, May 4th, at the Odd Love fashion show, taking place at the Century Ballroom in the Oddfellows Building.
In keeping with the collection’s hyper-local vibe, pieces will be layered with tees and totes from shops within the building. And the models? Well, look out for your favorite Molly Moon’s scoopers, OddFellows Café waitresses and NuBe Green shop girls to hit the runway. Tickets are just $12 and support 12th Avenue Arts; we suggest you embrace the odd love and see it for yourself.
