In previous years, the former Suede owner found she was spending less and less time styling, so she opened up chic new salon Adele in Fremont in February to get back behind the chair. Clients eagerly plunk down in the retro salon chairs for, among other stellar services, Quackenbush’s new signature “Diamond Cut” (starting at $75), a precision cut and a humectants-rich conditioning glaze. The eyes have it at this teensy spot, where the duo specializes in synthetic ($225) and mink ($400) eyelash extensions, as well as lash dips ($125–$200), the trendy coated-lash service that delivers a fully applied mascara look that lasts for as long as six weeks.
