Weather: Severe windy and rainy conditions have done a number on the Puget Sound region last night and this morning, including causing school closings, mud slides and power outages. Here come the Carolina Panthers: Our Seahawks will take on Cam Newton and his 4-seed Panthers in the NFC divisional round on Saturday, January 10 at CenturyLink Field. KOMO News reports that the Seahawks have opened as an 11-point favorite.

In today’s baby news: Soon-to-be Mrs. Macklemore is expecting.
