Last year it was a href=”http://\/\/seattlemag.com.239elwb01.blackmesh.com/carole-mcclellan-show-vanc…“Carole McClellan/a and this year, it’s a href=”http://\/\/seattlemag.com.239elwb01.blackmesh.com/local-designer-and-model-b…“Kristie Metcalf/a, who, you might recall, shot to prominence with her appearance on Bravo’s emStyled to Rock/em, Rihanna’s fashion reality show./p
pMetcalf, whose line is called a href=”http://www.calotypedesign.com/index.html” target=”_blank”Calotype/a, got in touch recently to share the news of her VFW show—her first ever show outside of Seattle, not counting the runway on TV. She’ll be showing a fall/winter capsule collection at VFW, which is in its twelfth year and covers seven full days of runway shows by more than 50 international designers. It’s a huge deal and a huge opportunity for exposure, with nearly 20,000 guests including buyers, industry influencers and media./p
