WHY WE LOVE THE LOOK: A busy mom of five and the owner of Gourmondo Catering in South Park, Bainbridge Island resident Leinonen doesn’t have time for two separate wardrobes. Instead, she incorporates the equestrian riding pants, structural tweed show coats and high-end cowgirl boots she wears to the barn into her 9-to-5 ensemble. “I try to mix a bit of town and country,” she says, “one part horse lover, one part corporate woman.” Office-friendly twists come courtesy of weathered leather jackets, pencil skirts and body-conscious cotton tops from designers such as Abi Ferrin—topped by her favorite accessory, a pair of knee-high leathers plucked from her collection of vintage, Western and designer boots.

THE ENSEMBLE: Goode Rider Scottish tweed long show coat, Noble Horse Gallery; layered over weathered leather Blur jacket, Les Amis; chocolate brown turtleneck, Banana Republic; Tuff Her cream jodhpur riding pants, Olson’s Tack Shop; Ariat two-toned leather boots with side lace-up detail, Noble Horse Gallery; gold hoop earrings, The Finerie.
