Fall Drama: Our Picks from the Nordstrom Designer Preview

We present 11 gorgeous looks from the runway

As always, Nordstrom put on quite a show last Thursday, July 24 for their Designer Preview, in support of the Seattle Art Museum’s upcoming exhibit Pop Departures. The event always draws all the best people, but this year I spotted quite a few notable Seattleites, including musician/producer/it-girl Hollis Wong-Wear (the insanely talented artist, Mark Mitchell was her date—a platonic power couple). And no significant Seattle event is complete without the requisite Bachelor/ette couple appearance (we do have 3 who live in the area, after all), this time it was Sean and Catherine Lowe. But the real star of the show is the fashion—much of which fit right in with the pop art theme, luckily both Dries Van Noten and Valentino—the bookmarks of the show—showed vibrant pieces with graphic elements that fit right in.
