Wow, remember back in February when there was one, maybe two, fun shopping events in a week? Now my head is spinning so fast from all the happenings I can barely keep track of them all (like, hey Thaw was last night and it was just a boatload of fun!). So, let’s run down the list:

This week the judges narrowed down our original 28 Seamless in Seattle contestants to our top 12 finalists (check them out here). These talented designers will all be featured in our fashion show on Wednesday, June 8. The 2011 winners will be revealed on the night of the show, plus the designer with the most “Likes” on our Facebook page will win the “Reader’s Choice” award given out on the night of the show. Vote now and vote often!

Speaking of the fashion show, Seattle magazine is holding an open call for models for the Seamless fashion show next Tuesday, May 10th. Full details here.

And two events you shouldn’t miss this weekend:

Tim Gunn will be in town tomorrow for a Lucky Brand denim fashion show at The Bellevue Collection. Earlier this week I caught up with Gunn and he dished about Seattle’s notorious casual style, what jean styles are right for your body and who should (and shouldn’t) wear the new wide-leg trouser trend. Read up on the full interview here, and meet him in Bellevue this weekend.

And if you haven’t quite figured out that Mother’s Day present yet (maybe my mom will take a hug?), take your mom shopping at the Intiman Theatre for the latest installment of the EtsyRain craft show featuring Etsy goods from over 60 local vendors including Haute Goat, Thea Starr, Sweet Petula and Seattle Sundries. The free fair runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and is full of sweet jewels, tote bags, bath and beauty products and other crafty finds for Mom.
