Fashion + Style Friday: FNO Recap, Lady Konnyaku Trunk Show and Looking Ahead to Fashion First

Kids, Seattle outdid itself last night: the fun and fashionable were out and about all over town from Eastside to west for Fashion’s NIght Out, shopping, gabbing and ready for fall fashion (despite the summer-like heat, though nobody complained too much). I hung out at the Bravern, catching a delightful (and packed) Neiman Marcus fashion show, Anthropologie’s fall fashion preview and bopped into a few faves including Piazza Sempione and DNA 2050.

There were a lot of fashion do’s, on both the runways and the crowds (If you want the play by play from last night, take a Twitter journey here), but my favorite look of the night came courtesy of Styled Seattle’s Darcy Camden. She styled local celeb Molly Mesnick, who also looked fabr, but for me, her outfit from The Finerie downtown took the cake:

For more fashion action (including video from the Neiman runway!), watch Team Photogenic’s Seen play-by-play of the evening, which also includes an interview with me during which I cajole a random, handsome man show me his socks:

But fashion month is just getting started folks: Don’t forget to swing by Seamless in Seattle winner Lady Konnyaku’s trunk show tomorrow at Momo (more info here) and then see her next week at Fashion First. The longest running independent show in the city, Seattle magazine is also presenting our 2011 Seamless in Seattle winners on the runway at the beginning of the evening; so get your tickets and trust me, after last night, I can vouch there are plenty of hot outfits to be had around town. Personally, I’m entrusting my look to Sustalux, featured in this month’s shopping issue.
