!–paging_filter–pThis is one of my favorite weeks of the year: a href=”http://bellevuecollection.com/FashionWeek/index.php” target=”_blank”The Bellevue Collection’s fashion week/a, where Bellevue Square merchants, emVogue/em, and this year,nbsp;emGQ/em, come together for a fashion extravaganza. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, these shows are beautifully produced, super fun and a great way to get a glimpse of fall trends come to life. Bonus: you can walk right across the street from the venue and snap those trendy clothes up right off the rack./p
pThe festivities start on Wednesday with the second annual a href=”http://idrs.brownpapertickets.com/” target=”_blank”Independent Designer Runway show/a. If you’re at all interested to see what our local designers are doing, this is the show for you./p
pThursday is the a href=”http://detlef.com/index.php/events/fashion-show” target=”_blank”Nordstrom/a show and this year, they’re switching things up and having a men’s show with help from emGQ/em. I’m thinking it’s going to be one of the most exciting events of the week, since menswear is super on fire right now./p
pFriday night’s Posh Party is sold out, so you’re lucky if you got tickets early./p
pI always go to the ema href=”http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/401242” target=”_blank”Vogue/a/em show on Saturday night. This year, the emVogue/em representative is Cara Crowley (Anne Vincent has helmed the event for the past few years) and will curate the fashion on the runway from mall stores. In the past, I’m always struck by how much I like the Ann Taylor stuff, but we’ll see what magic Crowly can create./p
pa href=”http://sevenluxuryhaircare.brownpapertickets.com/” target=”_blank”Seven Salon/a closes out the week with their hair show. This year’s show is called Memoir and it’s bound to be amazing. The team at Seven works for month and month on their presentation and always do a beautiful job./p
pHope to see you there, but if you can’t make it, check back on the blog next week for our recap./p
