Blue skies overhead and blueberries in our markets can only mean one thing–summer is here, and with it, the Fremont Fair. The annual event, held the weekend of June 17-18, promises fun for humans and dogs alike with a variety of activities and scheduled events sponsored by Just Right® by Purina® personalized dog food.

Here are just four of the many activities you and your four-legged friends can enjoy at the fair:

Strut your stuff at the Dog Parade

Remember all those partner costume ideas you had on November 1, just after Halloween? Now is the time to bring one of them to life for you and your dog. Just Right by Purina is sponsoring the Dog Parade this year, which takes place on Sunday, June 18, at 2:30pm. So dress up as Han Solo with your labradoodle-turned-Chewbacca by your side, and show Seattleites that any day is a good day to wear an awesome costume with your pup.

Transform your dog into a caricature

Just Right by Purina’s booth at the fair features a big teal doghouse filled with activities for dog owners and their dogs, including the chance to transform your pup into a caricature.

Four-legged guests can get a custom digital caricature created on the spot that captures all the quirks that makes him unique. These sharable caricatures will be developed by artists and available to everyone who visits the big teal doghouse.

Capture your essence in GIF form

If you’d rather pose with your pup, attendees will have the chance to capture their essence in a GIF. Simply walk into the GIF photo booth featuring a life-size bag of Just Right by Purina brand dog food, and walk out with a sharable GIF you can immediately send to friends and family.

Create a personalized blend of dog food

At the booth, dog owners are invited to speak with a Just Right by Purina veterinarian about their pup and get their burning questions answered. While you’re there, you can share even more about your dog by creating his own personalized blend of Just Right by Purina food.

No one knows your dog better than you do, and providing this firsthand knowledge of your pup’s age, weight, activity level, skin and coat health, protein preferences, and more will help Just Right by Purina create the ideal blend of food to suit his unique nutritional needs. In addition to fun giveaways for the humans, Just Right is also handing out coupons so your pup can try a complimentary bag of Just Right by Purina personalized dog food while supplies last.

The holidays tend to bring out the kid in all of us. And if opening presents and eating too many treats weren’t enough, there’s also a scavenger hunt in Seattle’s oldest neighborhood. Pioneer Square’s Holiday Ornament Scavenger Hunt has returned for its third year. Twenty-five handblown glass ornaments—all made at Glasshouse Studio—are hidden across 25…

Chit-Chat Kids

Chit-Chat Kids

Phone a friend.

Twenty years ago, before everyone walked around with a device in their pocket, kids used to call each other on a landline—often tethered to the kitchen in their home. It was a simpler time, when parents didn’t have to worry (nearly as much) about a potential predator contacting their child. Nowadays, things are different, which…

The design celebrates the state’s official sport. Additional plates are on the way.

Washington served up a new license plate last week, honoring the state sport of pickleball. In the works for three years, it’s the second of seven specialty plates to hit the market since getting approved by lawmakers earlier this year. “We’re thrilled to see our efforts become reality,” says Kate Van Gent, vice president of…

Seattle-Based Agency Brings Real Voices to NBC’s New Campaign

DNA&STONE built the project around candid conversations to understand what audiences want from reporting.

“I turned off news altogether. I want to be able to form my own opinions. Just tell the truth.” These lines open NBC News’ new national campaign, a 60-second ad that drifts over forests, farms, neighborhoods, and cityscapes while Americans talk about how worn out they feel by the news. The landscape carries the conversation…
