!–paging_filter–pAfter nearly 40 years at Fifth Avenue and Union Street, beloved Seattlea href=”http://\/\/seattlemag.com.239elwb01.blackmesh.com/butch-blum” clothing store Butch Blum /amoved shop in March to a gleaming new space at the base of the Two Union Square building. In addition to this new retail lease on life, Butch Blum and his wife, CEO Kay Smith-Blum, brought in Cameron Levin (a href=”http://www.lovecameron.com” target=”_blank”lovecameron.com/a) as designer-in-residence, stylist and e-commerce curator. The result: The B Line, a collection of spring/summer basics—pants, blouses, shorts, leggings and skirts in black, pale pink and gray washable silk, chiffon and jersey, ranging in price from $90 to $350 and perfect for the wardrobe of both the store’s growth group of 30-something professionals, as well as the store’s core demo of loyal 50-somethings. The B Line will be in the store through the spring and summer, with more collections on tap for the future, which looks very bright indeed. emButch Blum, 1332 Sixth Ave.; 206.622.5760; a href=”http://www.butchblum.com” target=”_blank”butchblum.com /a/em/p
