Owner Cedar Mannan's glass, metal and acrylic signs can be seen throughout Seattle

It’s easy for Cedar Mannan to spell out his chemical love of neon. Introduced to the element in college 20 years ago, Mannan still appreciates the handcrafted process of creating signs with it.
“Neon’s never become a mechanized industry,” he says. “Even the Budweiser sign was bent by hand. Neon pieces are custom in that way.”
Mannan and his wife continue this tradition with their 3-year-old studio, Noble Neon. Their glass, metal, wood and acrylic signs can be seen throughout Seattle, from Fremont’s Red Star Taco Bar to Georgetown’s Bartholomew Winery, but are also available for private commission. As winter approaches, Mannan says he’s busier than ever.“With the shorter days and cloud cover, people really notice that neon glow more.”
