Here’s Your Post-Election Neko Case, in Tacoma Tonight

Unless you already have tickets, you won’t be able to see Neko Case tonight when she visits the Pantages Theatre in Tacoma, her former hometown, for a sold out show. It’s sure to be one to remember; Case is a vocal advocate of progressive issues across the board. “In my beloved hometown, Tacoma tonight to host a “let it out and feel painful shit in a safe place” at the Pantages theatre. I love you,” she just tweeted. She then followed up with: “Time to get gayer, blacker, browner, lgbt’er, indigenous’er and WOMANER then ever before! There’s more of us, humanity. Mobilize with ❤️”
It’s a good reminder that the arts and music—and Case’s music this particular day—have the power to unite us all. Whatever you’re feeling today, take a moment with your favorite artist and tap into the music that runs through all of us.Â
