EtsyRain Handmade Holidays
Avoid those Black Friday throngs and shop in a more civilized manner at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, as the annual EtsyRain show moves in for a two-day stay. Featuring precisely 105 local Etsy vendors spread over two levels (read: lots of elbow room), gift inspiration will abound, including waterproof shower art from Ugly Baby and illustrated wearables from La Ru. Indie darlings, meet your shopping dreamland: The biannual Urban Craft Uprising. At the city’s largest indie craft show, more than 140 vendors will be on hand with cool clothing and jewelry lines, paper goods, toys, kids’ wear and more. The cast includes Seamless in Seattle winner Christine Chaney; new vendor, French Girl Organics; and PDX jewelry stars Betsy & Iya.
