Singer Elizabeth Mitchell has been on our radar since 2006, when we heard an NPR interview with her during the release of her album, You Are My Little Bird. We were immediately smitten. It’s hard not to be captivated by the singer (and her band, which includes her husband Daniel Littleton and daughter Storey) whose music is everything you want songs for children to be: soothing, silly, catchy and most of all, loving.

2012 was a busy year for Mitchell, who released two albums, Little Seed, a collection of Woodie Guthrie songs in honor of his 100th birthday, and Blue Clouds, a dreamy collection of songs inspired by a lullabye written by Littleton for Storey.

Mitchell and her clan will be gracing the stage at Town Hall on Saturday, November 3 at 10 a.m. in support of her new album. Puchase tickets here.
