Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix Seattle
(4/5-4/8) The fantasy card game designed here in Seattle, “Magic: The Gathering” turns 25 this year, celebrating with a huge hometown party downtown. The event is free for anyone who is a diehard fan (10-year-olds and still-playing adults, looking at you) or just a curious passerby. However, if you want to compete in the tournaments, there are registration fees. Bonus: There will be cosplayers, vendors selling Magic gear, and exhibits showcasing the game’s card art throughout its 25 years. Times and prices vary.
