Fashion Week at the Bellevue Collection
(9/20-9/24) You won’t want to miss The Bellevue Collection’s hotly anticipated fall Fashion Week. Get your fashion fix over five days of learning about the latest fall trends and style/beauty how-tos. Three major ticketed fashion shows go down at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, including the Independent Designer Runway Show (6 p.m. Sept. 21), the Posh Party Trend Show (6:30 p.m. Sept. 22) and the Collective Runway Show finale (6:30 p.m. Sept. 23) hosted by fashion designer and famed Project Runway contestant Christian Siriano. Fremont Oktoberfest
(9/22-9/24) We may not all be on board with lederhosen, but if there is one thing that connects Seattleites to German tradition it’s our city’s abiding love of beer. Our Northwest craft beers might be a bit hoppier than traditional old-country brews, but this event has room for both. Beyond beer look for live music, chainsaw pumpkin carving, a “stein hoisting” contest and more. Proceeds benefit the Fremont Chamber of Commerce. End Aids Walk Seattle
(9/23) Join Lifelong’s 31st annual fundraising effort at Volunteer Park to support prevention efforts and care for those living with HIV and AIDS. Alzheimer’s Talks: An Evening with Jean Smart
(9/27) The September installment in a lecture series presented by the UW Medicine Memory and Brain Wellness Center brings Alzheimer’s champion and Emmy Award–winning actor Jean Smart into the conversation.
