Barnett (a Seattle magazine contributor), Josh Feit, Sarah Anne Lloyd, Matthew Richter and David Schmader gather to share tales inspired by the theme “Spooky Election Season” at this installment of the semi-regular live literary series. Seattle Weavers’ Guild Show
(10/26-10/27) This annual exhibition features thousands of original fiber pieces, from linens to baskets, crafted by the artists of Seattle Weavers’ Guild to browse and buy. Attendees can talk to artists, watch them at work and purchase one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items. Proceeds will be used to fund the guild’s volunteer outreach program to bring talented weavers to Seattle and grow the weaving community. Times vary. Free. National Film Festival for Talented Youth
(10/25-10/28) NFFTY, a program of The Talented Youth non-profit arts organization, acts as a premier showcase for directors aged 24 and younger from around the world. The yearly festival aims to promote and encourage the next generation of filmmakers to inspire, lead and entertain the world.
