(10/6–10/15) Sustainability starts at home with this week-long celebration of all things made in Seattle. Discuss the “Future of Urban Manufacturing” with a panel on maker economy, shop 30-40 vendors at the Seattle Made Market, and sample tastings from Beecher’s Cheese, Pike Brewing Company, Redhook Ale Brewery and others to round out this blowout of locally produced goods and services. Social Justice Film Festival
(10/5–10/14) The theme of this year’s Social Justice Film Festival is #HopeDemocracy; featured films will examine our own democracy and the people within it, and aim to inspire social change through action.
