!–paging_filter–pEarlier this year, Amsterdam-based men’s outfitter Suitsupply opened a store in Seattle, its 10th in the U.S.—bringing a world of custom-tailored suits and accessories to this city’s increasingly style-conscious male inhabitants. Why Seattle? “After we tracked web store sales, we noticed that a very large amount was shipped to a lot of big business in the Seattle and surrounding area,” explains company vice president Nish de Gruiter. “That, for us, was a reason to give those loyal shoppers their own store.” A favorite of sartorial superstar Tim Gunn, the line is known for its impeccable fit, high-quality fabrics and the ability to bridge classic style with modern sensibility. Suitsupply’s staff, which includes on-site tailors, attends its “suit school” in New York before hitting the sales floor. This spring, according to de Gruiter, look for three-piece suits in wool linen and silk blends, along with more casual cotton pants and double-breasted waistcoats. Spread the word to all the dapper dudes you know. emDowntown, 1331 Fifth Ave., Suite 213; 206.212.0100; a href=”http://www.suitsupply.com” target=”_blank”suitsupply.com /a/em/p
