Nike Store Reopening, Nordstrom Expanding Madewell

Have yourself a shopping spree at these summer sales and new and remodeled stores

Nike Store Reopening Downtown
Where: 1500 6th Ave.
When: July 30, 10 a.m.
What: The Nike Store is back and looking better than ever. The remodeled store, which had temporarily closed back in February, will feature a custom Seattle art installation, Seattle-inspired apparel including exclusive Nike Seattle T-shirts, and a Seahawks section featuring NFL jerseys, hoodies, shirts, and more, along with a wide selection of running gear and sportswear. You can also join the Nike Run Club for weekly runs on Wednesdays at the University Village store, and now starting on Thursdays at the Downtown location.

Madewell at Nordstrom
Where:
Downtown Seattle Nordstrom and Bellevue Square Nordstrom
What:
Nordstrom announced this week that it will expand its partnership with Madewell, J Crew’s denim-focused sister brand. The partnership began in March of this year with 15 Nordstrom stores (including the Bellevue Square location) showcasing Madewell products. Nordstrom will now add 15 more stores to the Madewell partnership, including the Downtown Seattle store. Each location will feature items from Madewell’s fall collection, including favorites like the High Riser denim, the Slub V-neck Pocket Tee, and the Transport Tote. Freeman Anniversary Sale

When: August 1, 4 – 8 p.m.
What: This Capitol Hill men’s apparel and accessories shop, which got its start making and selling raincoats and has since branched out into shirts, vests, and hats, is celebrating its first anniversary. Stop in to snag 20 percent off the Freeman brand, 15 percent off everything else (think Filson, Tanner Goods, and Juniper Ridge), and while you’re there soaking up all the good deals, enjoy gratis pizza and beverages and a chance to win prizes from brands such as Topo Designs and Teranishi. The grand prize of the night will be a Freeman raincoat!

Seattle Renegade Craft Fair

Magnuson Park, Hangar 30
When: August 1 – 2, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
What: Browse a selection of beautiful products from more than 100 independent artists and makers, including many local shops like Moorea Seal, Cairo, Pine & Boon and Ferdinand’s. There will also be food trucks onsite (expect Street Donuts, Kiss My Grits and more). And don’t forget to scope out the locations of your favorite sellers with this lovely little map.

Butch Blum Summer Sale
Where: 1332 6th Ave.
When: Through August 8
What: The Seattle clothing store, which stocks such fashion staples as Luciano Barbera, Citizens of Humanity, and J Brand, is hosting its final sale of the summer. Bonobos opens first Seattle Guideshop

The online men’s apparel and accessories retailer has opened a 1,000-square-foot store in University Village. This marks the e-commerce-driven company’s first location in Seattle and 19th nationwide. Bonobos’ Guideshop serves as a sort of hands-on showroom for its online store in that it’s a relaxed environment where shoppers try on products like button-up shirts, chinos, and a whole line of golf attire, with the assistance of a personal shopper. Once you decide on your items, your purchases are shipped for free to your home so you don’t even have to carry any bags.
