Fans of online boutique Flora and Henri (Pioneer Square, 401 First Ave. S; 206.749.9698; florahenri.com) have a reason to celebrate June 11 when the retailer opens its doors in Seattle for the first time since 2012, when its last location on Capitol Hill was shuttered. Housed in the Schwabacher Hardware Company building, it’s designed to evoke a Parisian shop, one where coffee and tea are offered as you browse items in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere, surrounded by high ceilings and painted brick walls. Longtime owner Jane Hedreen has expanded inventory beyond children’s apparel and toys to include high-quality women’s fashion; home décor pieces; and men’s personal items. “[I’m] grateful to have found the perfect home for our entire operations—web, retail, wholesale and design studio—in such a beautiful corner of historic Pioneer Square,” says Hedreen. Look for new products such as gorgeous leather slip-ons by Vayarta, porcelain pieces from Lenneke Wispelwey and jewelry by Blanca Monrós Gómez. Stop by and discover the shop’s delightful goods, whether it’s your first time or your first time back.
