Scout Apparel to Close

Edie’s Shoes/Scout Apparel owner Erin Dolan has announced the closure of Scout mid-June due to the re-imagining of the block on which her shops live. (We reported on Edie’s moving a few weeks ago, up to the former Brocklind’s costume building.) No word yet of a clearance sale, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear of anything.
The Capitol Hill Seattle Blog released a rendering of what the new eight-story development will look like. It’s going to seriously change the landscape of that neighborhood, which is little bit of a bummer for those people who like it just fine as it is.
