You won’t find only men perusing the carefully curated selection of lightly worn menswear at resale boutique H.Bailey (Pioneer Square, 108 Cherry St., Suite 1; 206.351.1595), which opened in the historic Good Arts Building last November.

Owner Hilary Bailey Burnett—who for many years helped clients at the now-closed women’s clothing boutique Jeri Rice and the Columbia City–based vintage shop Hunt—sees menswear as an ideally adaptable style for outfitting all genders.“I wanted to create a calm space with an array of menswear that would be welcoming to all people.”

The shop features a carefully curated collection of vintage finds from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, along with gently worn contemporary pieces, including shoes, bags, sport coats and ties.

Burnett also offers services such as expert styling advice to help clients integrate vintage pieces into a modern wardrobe, and in-house tailoring for a personalized fit. Satisfied customers dressed in dapper duds are regularly added to Burnett’s spunky Instagram page (@hbaileyboutique), proof that finding just the thing never goes out of style.
