See Infinity Mirrors and Neon Arcades at Winston Wachter’s ‘Summer Dreams’
A new group exhibit captures the spirit of the season

Summer Dreams is the title of the new exhibit at the Winston Wächter gallery, but 1980s dreams are what Abby Dougherty, who works under the name Neon Saltwater, evokes with the color palettes of her installations: luminescent aquas, vibrating pinks, gelatinous greens.
“Mindgames Love Arcade” is the Cornish alumna’s contribution to Summer Dreams (imagine the casts of Miami Vice and The Breakfast Club hanging out in a rec room somewhere deep inside Tron).
The show, which promises to transform the gallery “into an alternate reality of overflowing color and light,” also includes works by the pop-inspired design studio Electric Coffin, Peter Gronquist’s wall-mounted 3-D light boxes (his version of “infinity mirrors”) and Jennifer Zwick’s boldly patterned floral photographs.
