For some, the advent of Labor Day weekend signals the need to pack a weekend bag and get out of town. But, with the last bits of Seattle sunshine to soak in and not a traffic jam in sight, Seattleites have the opportunity to explore a less crowded city over the three-day weekend. Those looking to up their style game for autumn can take advantage of the biannual Citywide Summer Warehouse Sale hosted in the Melrose Market Studios (1532 Minor Ave.) on Capitol Hill on August 31 and September 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event, now in its fourth year, features merchandise from a mix of local designers and shops priced to sell at 20-80% off. So, whether you have been waiting for a reason to check out Likelihood’s coveted kicks, Pipe and Row’s curated wears and jewelry or the Pinterest-worthy home goods at Glasswing, here’s your chance.

“This event started with the goal of building and strengthening community,” says Alisa Furoyama, Glasswing co-owner. “We wanted to create a fun event that brings all of our networks together to shop local and support homegrown businesses.”

Check out the full list of participating shops and designers below and get ready to debut your new finds to your family and friends, who didn’t have the good sense to stick around Seattle this weekend.
