This Store Spurs My Jealousy of People with Nice Handwriting
Paper Source opens its latest store, in Queen Anne
By Lauren Mang July 23, 2014

Our sister publication Seattle Bride reported that Paper Source, the purveyor of too-pretty-to-send cards and stationery, datebooks, calendars, fine paper and more, has added a third store (the others are in University Village and Bellevue) to its Seattle-area portfolio. This time, the location is high atop Queen Anne, along Queen Anne Ave. N.
I adore Paper Source. Each time I go in, I imagine the amazing things I will create and send to friends and family, or I’ll scoop up a colorful daily planner with grand intentions of marking up the pages with social engagements, deadlines, birthday reminders.

It turns out, being thoughtful and crafty and someone who fills out a datebook, or someone whose pins on Pinterest get countless re-pins and comments like “cyuuuute,” is not in my wheelhouse. I’m envious of you ladies and gents who can take something like these totally adorable chalkboard hang tags and come up with a creation that’s equal parts creative and pretty to look at. After all, this is my handwriting:
But! If you’re not inherently crafty or artistic or have legible handwriting, PS offers tons of workshops and how-tos (create your own wedding invitations!) and even templates to help get you started on a project. Now that the Queen Anne location is up and running, we don’t have to roam quite so far to get our crafting on.
