It’s the time of year when overcast skies and brisk winds force otherwise well-heeled women to trade in their sandals and stilettos for more practical—and waterproof—footwear.

This season’s rain boots come with a welcome pop of color, bringing a little sunshine to your otherwise cloudy day. The only unexpected “splash” you might encounter is one of style.
