Usually I’m bitter about preparing for Christmas before the Thanksgiving turkey is even bought. However, it is a universal truth that creamy eggnog is a necessity as soon as the temperatures drop to glove-worthy lows. Thus, this year I can feel sweet about the early release of Sun Liquor’s Aged Eggnog, just in time for the turkey.

Sun Liquor’s Aged Eggnog will be available at Total Wine & More on Saturday, November 18 starting at 9 a.m. You may only be able to buy this ‘nog by the glass at Sun Liquor Lounge on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but now that you can score this guzzle-worthy goodness early, you can enjoy it whenever you want—especially over the upcoming holidays.

If you want to avoid the lines at Total Wine & More that are bound to become a new Black Saturday, hop aboard the DIY wagon and make your own, as Erik Chapman taught us last year, with the same smooth, Sun Liquor barrel-aged rum flavor.

Find it at these Total Wine & More locations in Western Washington:

Bellevue, 699 120th Ave. NE B
Federal Way, 32095 Pacific Hwy S
Interbay, 1550 W Armory Way
Lynnwood, 2701 184th St. SW

Gone are the summer crowds—what remains is a charming, windswept seaside town that feels like it’s yours alone. Before…

A lot of Seattle stories seem to be coming to a close as we near the year’s end, with some iconic eateries going out on their own terms and others fighting to survive. Sadly, we’ve also lost some truly outsized figures on the culinary scene, including Ms. Helen Coleman, the “Queen of Seattle Soul Food,”…
