A taste of Germany is coming to Fremont.
Landmark Event Co., a Seattle catering and event outfit best known for operating private-dining club The Ruins, is launching Treffpunkt, an Oktoberfest pop-up restaurant, on the rooftop of wedding venue Fremont Foundry.
The pop-up will open Friday, Sept. 25 and will run Thursdays through Sundays through Oct. 31.
Treffpunkt, which means “meeting place” in German, will feature traditional Bavarian items, including bratwurst and homemade beer chili. Munich-based Paulaner Brewery will provide authentic German beer for the event. It will be open for dine-in with limited seating, and food and drinks are available for takeout. Social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
“What better way to welcome fall than with Oktoberfest?” says Sam Benton, director of operations at Landmark Event Co.
