pOn Wednesday, November 13, McClellan is showing off Sovereign, her new leather ready-to-wear line at a href=”http://www.wseattle.com/” target=”_blank”W Seattle/a as part of the hotel’s a href=”http://\/\/seattlemag.com/w-seattle-s-wear-wednesdays“Wear Wednesdays/a series. From 5 to 7 p.m., McClellan her luscious, lovely, soft and chic leather and cashmere collection, which includes leggings, shift dress, pencil skirt and jackets for women and two styles of trousers, a leather shirt, a T-shirt and two stylish jackets for men, as well as cashmere underpinnings will be available for pre-order for March or April delivery./p
pThere will be informal modeling and W Seattle has created a specialty cocktail in the designer’s honor called the Smooth and Smokey, with thyme and lime infused gin smoked with alder wood and finished with yuzu and tonic—a dollar from each of which goes to Fashion Group International’s Seattle Scholarship Fund to support emerging designers, merchandisers and production professionals./p
