For the past few years, these annual features—where we look back on the best, and worst, headlines of the past 12 months—have gotten more and more outrageous. For the most part, news has not been great. That’s why this year we went straight to The Needling, our Instagram obsession, for a quick laugh at its satirical takeon life in Seattle.
