Movies at the Mural: The Princess Bride
Friday, July 26
9 p.m., Seattle Center Mural Amphitheatre, Free
Movies at the Mural at Seattle Center is where you can catch free outdoor films on a giant screen with friends and a blanket. This week’s showing is The Princess Bride, bringing you sword fights, romance, and some of the best one-liners in film history.
Bellevue Arts Fair
July 26-28
10 a.m.-9 p.m., Bellevue Square & Bellevue Arts Museum, Free
Check out more than 300 artists with their handmade crafts and art. You’ll find modern, traditional, and new work. Plus, there’s free stuff like exhibitions, a kids fair, and food trucks. The Bellevue Arts Fair has been around since 1947.
Alaska Airlines Torchlight Parade
Saturday, July 27
3 p.m., Downtown Seattle – Fourth Avenue, Free
This is a summer highlight, with more than 100 parade entries. Imagine dragon dancers, precision drill teams, prancing horses, fancy floats, and marching bands bringing the streets to life, capturing the city’s spirit.

The 2023 AMA Entertainer of the Year and 15-time CMA award-winner Chris Stapleton will be joined by music legends Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow.

Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire
July 27-28
10 a.m.-7 p.m., 18601 Sky Meadows Lane, Snohomish, $39.95
Cheer on brave knights from across Europe as they compete for the favor of the Crown and Court. Enjoy jousting, period music, improv comedy, and endless entertainment. This weekend’s theme is, “Pirates’ Plunder: A High Seas Adventure.” Expect sea shanties, daring buccaneers, and a lively market. Dress in pirate gear and feast on hearty fare.
The Faire also runs on Aug. 2-4, 9-11, and 16-18, each weekend featuring a different theme.
