Hasn’t it been pretty outside? It’s finally time to wear something breezy and get back to strolling the neighborhoods with an iced drink in hand.

This week’s lineup: We found out our waters are full of sharks — the big, mysterious kind that make divers giddy. Jones Soda  ghosted its cannabis drink. Suncadia’s getting a new retail village. And if you owe someone an apology, we’ve got a guide for that.

Now, here’s what you can get up to this week.

A promotional image with a smiling man, W. Kamau Bell, next to a large question mark and the text “WHO'S WITH ME?” in bold letters. Part of the Must List for 06-26-2025.

W. Kamau Bell

Friday, June 27, 7:30 p.m.
Neptune Theatre
$48+

If the world’s on fire, at least W. Kamau Bell makes it funny. His shows always get into politics, race, and the internet — and remind us that laughing doesn’t mean we’re not paying attention.

Greenwood Car Show

Saturday, June 28, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Greenwood Avenue North and North 76th Street Phinney Ridge
Free

Nothing says Seattle summer like vintage cars baking in the sun while strangers talk horsepower. If you’re even a little bit into old rides, go and nerd out.

A large crowd gathers outdoors under a banner reading "MORE RAINBOW SATURDAY JUNE 28" for a PrideFest event, featured on the Must List for 06-26-2025, with trees, tents, and a stage visible in the background.

PrideFest Capitol Hill

Saturday, June 28, noon-8 p.m.
Capitol Hill
Free

It’s loud and sweaty — half dance party, half street fair. Take a lap around Cal Anderson Park, grab a drink, hug a stranger, and have a gay old time.

A must-list event: Adults in pirate costumes wade through shallow water at an outdoor gathering, with a lively crowd and dock behind them. Mark your calendar for 06-26-2025!.

Seafair Pirates Landing

Saturday, June 28, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
Alki Beach Park
Free

They’ve got stolen treasure and real beards. An actual pirate ship carries them and their loot through the rough waters of the Salish Sea. It’s very fun and chaotic, and it’s been a thing since the ’50s.

Seattle Pride Parade 2025 event poster, a Must List for 06-26-2025, features: 3 stages of talent, LGBTQIAS+ marketplace, DJs, food trucks, and a colorful “Pride Parade” banner.

Seattle Pride Parade

Sunday, June 29, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Westlake Park
Free

Floats, marchers, and drag royalty. It’s the big one. Stake out a curb and cheer for everyone. Bring water and sunscreen — it’ll be a long, hot, beautiful day. Congresswoman Emily Randall and Cheer Seattle are this year’s grand marshals. First held in 1974, the parade is now one of the largest in the country. Never miss the chance to celebrate love.

A person with medium-length brown hair gazes to the side against a blue background, with text reading "2025 Baekhyun World Tour Reverie" and "06-26-2025 Must List" overlaid at the bottom.

Baekhyun

Tuesday, July 1, 7:30 p.m.
WAMU Theater
$71.75+

The K-pop star with the softest vocals and slickest moves lands in Seattle. You don’t need to know EXO to get swept up in it, just show up and let the crowd carry you.

People gather on a grassy field with chairs and tents for a 3rd of July Celebration; banners and text promote fireworks, food trucks, and family fun at this Must List event. Save the date: 06-26-2025!.

3rd of July Family Celebration

Thursday, July 3, 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
Ballinger Park
Free

Why wait for the Fourth? Mountlake Terrace lights up the sky a day early. It’s low-key, family-friendly, and easy to park. Bring a blanket for the lake views, and stop at Diamond Knot Brewpub or Hemlock State Brewing Co. beforehand.

Local Businesses Step Up Against Rising Hunger

As food insecurity grows, Seattle organizations respond with coordinated meal distributions and support.

Food bank visits are up 70% since 2019, and even with SNAP benefits reinstated, many families still struggle to keep food on the table. Costs continue to rise, donations have dipped as everyday expenses increase, and the loss of federal support has left a system that was already stretched pushed even further. “Right now, we’re…

Fave Five: Jazzy and Merry

Fave Five: Jazzy and Merry

From twinkling lights to Viking bonfires, here’s how to celebrate the season.

For me, it all starts when Lou Rawls sings. One song into Merry Christmas, Baby, and I’m ready to give in to the whirl of it all. Hearing it also means the pace is about to pick up, and sometimes it does feel like too much. But that’s just the holidays—the joy comes tucked inside…

Fave Five: Settling into Fall

Fave Five: Settling into Fall

Warm light, early sunsets, and the comfort of small adventures.

September and October are my favorite months in Seattle. It’s still lovely outside—plenty of sun—but the air is cooler. I find myself scanning the day for something good to do before dark: a last farmers market tomato, a long walk, or a reason to make soup. It reminds me of childhood, squeezing in one more…

A fall season opener, Taste of the Sound, Downton’s farewell

Fall is just about here, showing itself in the chill of early mornings and the fog that settles over the city. It’s the season when Seattle feels like the center of the art world. We dropped into Pioneer Square to catch fashion at its most fun during First Thursday Art Walk, rounded up this season’s…
