The Olympics are wrapping up this Sunday, and the excitement is palpable. Have you been following any of the Seattle-area athletes in Paris? It’s been so fun to watch.

In other news, Seafair has a new CEO, and over at Seattle Opera, James Robinson is stepping in as the new general and artistic director.

If you’re sticking around for the sunshine this weekend, you should check out our architecture tour. And don’t forget, the Auction of Washington Wines kicks off tonight. It’s a fun event supporting important work.

As always, we’ve got some great stuff to do if you’re kicking around this week.

Music in the air

Bring it, Seattle. You are stunning under blue skies. If you’re looking for something to check out between iced coffee runs, this art show about climate change looks incredible. Phish, foodies, freedom

Hey, how’s it going? There’s a lot happening right now,  nationally and here in Seattle, and not all of it’s easy to watch. Humanities Washington is fighting through federal budget cuts, trying to protect the kind of community programs we usually take for granted. Earth Day is coming up, but this year it feels heavier….

Maybe take a trip to Seattle’s first Fat…
