It hit 94 on Wednesday — the hottest day of the year so far. Today’s cooler, breezy even, and I’m not complaining. Everything’s green, and the water’s sparkling. Summer in Seattle really is the best.

Last night was our last 9 p.m. sunset for a while and my husband and I made the most of it. We sat on the patio at Ridgecrest Public House with a glass of wine, soaking it up, and honestly? What a place to live.
