One of the city’s largest local-breweries-only tasting events (with cideries too!), BREW Seattle features breweries located within Seattle, tapping the local creativity popping up all over our Emerald City. Short Run Comix and Arts Festival
(11/4) This seventh annual event celebrates the various styles of print art and literature, and showcases a spectrum of works, from handmade, self-published books to indie comics and cartoons. Day of the Dead Festival
(11/4) Join the Phinney Neighborhood Association for their Day of the Dead Festival, where families can gather to celebrate the lives of their lost loved ones. A traditional Latin American holiday, Dia de los Muertos will include a community procession and a formal altar dedicated to the deceased, where loved ones can place their offerings—pictures, mementos and other small items—to honor the dead. Plus, the event will feature live music, face painting, traditional Mexican hot chocolate and a raffle benefiting the PNA’s Spanish language preschool co-op. 4–7 p.m. Free.
