Abbio keeps costs down by selling direct to consumers

Making delicious meals requires the right tools, and Abbio’s professional-grade cookware is here to help. Launched in September 2019, the Seattle-based company offers high-quality products similar to those manufactured by All-Clad, but sells directly to customers to keep costs down. All Abbio pieces are of tri-ply construction, and skillets have a proprietary nonstick coating that’s free of harmful chemicals. Brothers Eric and Jonathan Wahl wanted to create a simple, stylish line of cookware suitable for any cooking project. “Cookware should not be stodgy; it should instead inspire and be the catalyst for a great meal,” Eric says. With Abbio’s current line—which includes two nonstick skillets (large pictured here, $77), a sauté pan, a sauce pan and a stock pot—we say they’ve succeeded.
