The Quick and Dirty on Seattle’s Hamilton Lottery
Still confused about those $10 Hamilton tickets? Here’s some do’s and don’ts to get you started.

If you don’t feel like paying $240 or more for Hamilton tickets, we don’t blame you. But you may have a chance on getting tickets without selling your kidney.
Hamilton’s producers launched Seattle’s $10 #HAM4HAM ticket lottery on Sunday, Feb. 4. Here are the basics do’s and don’ts you need to know:
DO download the “Hamilton” App through App Store or Google Play. There is a website you can sign up on too, but the app can send you notifications to remind you to sign up for the next lottery.
DO enter separately for every show. Just because you threw your name in the race on Feb. 4 for the Feb. 6 show doesn’t mean that you automatically get entered for the other performances.
DON’T enter more than once per performance. It won’t boost your chances at all.
DO enter the lottery two days prior to every show (except the Feb. 15 show and the March 8 and 14 matinees) starting at 11 a.m. The lottery closes at 9 a.m. the day before the show and the winners are announced at 11 a.m. It doesn’t matter what time you enter, as long as you enter.
DO respond and purchase your tickets by 4 p.m. the day before the show if you win. We know this should be a no-brainer but if you don’t, your tickets are forfeited and the system will pick someone else or the box office will sell them at full price (ew).
DON’T get your friends to enter for you if they can’t go. Valid ID must be presented at the box office to pick up the tickets.
DON’T try to scalp the tickets. According to our sources (the internet), the lottery tickets are void if resold. Also, that’s just rude.
We’re not sure how good your chances are, but they’re definitely higher than winning the Powerball! Good luck!
