3/17, 8 p.m. — 1st Annual St. Patricks Day Punk Massacre: Neumo’s is getting into the Irish spirit with a ’70s-’80s Punk tribute night featuring The Dee Dees, Smokey Brights, Blood Drugs, Acapulco Lips, Ubu Roi and more. Doors open at 8 p.m., show is free with RSVP or ticket. 

3/14 — Bottleneck Lounge: Join Bottleneck Lounge for an Irish feast including festive drinks such as Diamond Knot’s Slane’s Irish Red and Quilter’s Irish Death from Iron Horse Brewing. On the food side it’ll be serving corned beef simmered in Guinness and piled high on rye with traditional cabbage for “one of the best corned beef sandwiches this side of Galway.” Wear your green, grab your fellow countrymen and women and join the revelry. Sláinte!

Downtown 

3/14, 12:30 p.m. — 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Don your finest green-and-white wares for the 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Starting at Fourth Avenue at Jefferson Street, the celebratory spectacle winds its way through downtown, including Westlake Park, and makes its final stop at the Seattle Center at 2 p.m. Catch a free ride from Westlake Park to Seattle Center on the Monorail from 1:30-2:30.

3/16, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. — 2015 F5 St. Patrick’s Day Dash: Before you dive headfirst into your green brews and Irish fare, opt for a good old-fashioned calorie burn at this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Dash, a 5K jaunt around the Seattle Center that benefits local nonprofits, including the Detlef Schrempf Foundation.

3/17 — Triple Door St. Patrick’s Day Celebration: Celebrate the Irish holiday with live folk music at The Triple Door, where Norman Baker & The Backroads with Caitlin Jemma will perform new renditions of old country-folk songs. Norman Baker and his bands have previously shared the stage with nationally-acclaimed artists Head & the Heart, Bryan John Appleby, Kevin Murphy and Brandi Carlile. 

3/17 —  Fado’s 14th Annual St. Patricks Day Party: “Dont Hold Back, Hold Beers” and join Fado Irish Pub for its 14th Annual St. Patrick’s Day bash. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for “Kegs and Eggs,” with a special brunch menu served until 11 a.m. Live music all day, $10 cover starts at 2 p.m. 

Kirkland

3/14 — Shamrock Run 5K & Family Fun Run: Join in St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with a festive run and walk for the entire family. The fourth annual course will bring bounding Leprechauns of all ages through Kirkland with outstanding views of the Olympic Mountains and Lake Washington. Celebrate at the post-race beer deck at the Wilde Rover Irish Restaurant. 

Lake Chelan

3/14 — Wayne Kelly Memorial Top Dog Parade: Presented by the Lake Chelan Lion’s Club, this beloved St. Patrick’s Day tradition brings together families and pups of all kinds for a festive walk through downtown. Costumes of the green variety are encouraged, as participants compete to bring home the Top Dog Award. 

Tri-Cities

3/14 — Leprechaun Dash: Race your way to the pot of gold in this year’s Leprechaun Dash! This annual event aims to get young students active in the community and compete for a chance to improve physical education equipment. With a minimum of 100 finishers, the elementary school with the most finishers will be declared the winner of the Dash and receive a check from 3 Rivers Road Runners for $2,000 to use toward physical education equipment. The second and third place elementary schools will also receive cash prizes. The age limit is 15 years old for registered runners, but students from any school district are welcome to participate.

3/9 to 3/17 — http://kellsirish.com/seattle/sp2015_release.php ” target=”_blank”>Kells 32nd St.Patricks Irish Festival: Head to Kells for its 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Irish Festival, which lasts through St. Patrick’s Day and features a bevy of live Irish music, dancing, traditional fare and more. All proceeds go to Pike Market Clinic.

Seattle Center

3/14 to 3/16, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. — Irish Festival: Prepare to dance a jig or two at the Seattle Center Armory’s gratis Irish Festival, where you’ll find Irish step dancing, live music, contemporary Irish short films and even genealogy workshops in which to trace your roots. 

3/17 — Seattle Children’s Museum: G-rated fun abounds at the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Seattle Children’s Museum. Expect art (Leprechaun houses!), math (Leprechaun graphing), Celtic harp exploration and a St. Patrick’s Day-themed story time.

3/17, 4 p.m. to midnight — Hula Hula St. Patrick’s Day Celebration: If the cognitive dissonance of being in a tiki bar on St. Patrick’s Day isn’t too much for you to handle, head over to Hula Hula for where you can “sing a song from our St Patty’s Day theme list and get a $3 Jameson or a $3 Guinness.” The bar will also be serving Guinness Corned Beef & Cabbage with baby red potatoes & carrots.
