All Things Rainier In Georgetown
A wild celebration of an iconic Seattle brand

The Rainier beer brand is now owned by Pabst Brewing Co., but the iconic Seattle brand remains alive and well.
All things Rainier will be celebrated Sept. 21 on “R-Day” in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. The party features the Wild Rainiers (remember the famous ad campaign featuring Rainier Beer bottles and cans on legs?); arcade games; Rainier merchandise and, of course, a flowing river of Rainier Beer streaming from the on-site beer garden or one of the iconic Georgetown bars. The event is free, and no tickets are required.
The Washington Brewery was Seattle’s first commercial brewing company when it opened in 1854, and it launched the Rainier brand in 1878. Pabst has owned the brand since 1999.
