Styled Child: Meet Seattle Kidswear Brand Rapozza
From a basement startup to a Pacific Place boutique, the family-run label is making colorful children's clothing with staying power.
This article originally appeared in the September/October 2026 issue of Seattle magazine.
For Rapozza, a locally owned and designed children’s clothing brand, the phrase “moving on up” describes the company’s evolution in more ways than one. Founded by Brenda Palomino in 2023, Rapozza launched from a basement with online sales, then jumped to local makers markets, and most recently, opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Pacific Place.
“Stepping into this space feels like the natural culmination of all that work,” Palomino says, crediting the Seattle Restored program for helping the brand land its first-level boutique. Rapozza is known for its colorful, playful, gender-neutral designs on garments made from Peruvian Pima and Tangüis cotton, and crafted in a small, female-led shop in Peru.
“What really sets us apart is that we refuse to chase trends, and we want to make pieces our customers fall in love with and hold onto, not just because of how well they’re made, but because they never go out of style,” says Palomino. “Premium, to us, also means paying people fairly. We like to say: if you aren’t paying the true cost of making a garment fairly, someone else is. We focus on building garments to survive kids’ biggest, messiest adventures.”
