SODO offers a charming glimpse into Seattle’s industrial history and a collection of hidden gems to discover, from specialty shops to great restaurants and unique experiences.

Perfect for the foodie explorer, SODO is home to a diverse collection of food and beverage, from locally-operated wineries to familiar fast food. Whatever your craving may be, you can find it in SODO.

From the north end of the district, you can explore a variety of places just a short walking distance from the stadiums. Here you can find game day favorites like pizza, burgers, and beer, or add something new to your game day tradition, like lobster tail at Vinason Pho, or Cuban sandwiches from Paseo.

Explore further south and find some hidden gems as well (not just your familiar drive-thrus!) Deliciously authentic teriyaki from Teriyaki Plus or Yak’s Teriyaki, bountiful burgers and hand-spun shakes that we’re convinced could compete with a bag of Dick’s at Pick Quick or By’s Burgers, and succulent southern barbecue from Jack’s BBQ or Pecos Pit to name a few.

Check out Seattle’s first recreational dispensary at Cannabis City, try a strain or two that was grown right down the street, or discover a cannabis museum complete with apothecary glass jars from the past at Dockside Cannabis.

Enjoy a glass of locally distilled whiskey at any of the eight local whiskey distillers within SODO’s warehouse walls, full-bodied in taste and ideal for any whiskey connoisseur. Appreciate award-winning Washington wines with full and pleasant flavor profiles from over 20 Washington wineries and tasting rooms. Explore Seattle’s long history of brewing by visiting any of the nine beer, cider or seltzer makers and discover a new brew or two, made fresh and local. Or grab some freshly baked bread at Macrina Bakery as it leaves the oven, perfect to pair with a warm cup of coffee on a soggy Seattle day.

Gluten-free beers, Washington wines, world-famous coffee, and local favorites can be found across Seattle’s Industrial District.

The best way to explore all that SODO has to offer is through SODO Business Improvement Area’s Official SODO Business Directory. This Directory is an online guide that provides visitors with an in-depth guide to the many businesses that encompass the neighborhood, searchable by keyword, or by interest.

This comprehensive guide provides a complete listing of all the businesses that call SODO home. Find a specific type of business or just explore the area, the Directory makes it easy to find what you’re looking for and to explore all the Tastes of SODO!

Whether it’s game day and you need your fan fix, enjoying a night out with friends, finding your favorite wine pairing, or the perfect fill for the lunchtime rush.
