Crucible Brewing Hangout

Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets
(4/8-4/11) In this livestreamed literary battle, playwrights and poets pair off, competing to produce prompted one-act plays and poems. In true quarantine fashion, themes include exhausted, isolation and pajamas. A full podcast roundup of the event will also be available 4/12. 7 p.m. Free.

Easter Dinner
(4/12) Just because you’re in quarantine doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate Easter with a proper spread. Many Seattle restaurants are offering special to-go meals for the occasion: Look to Ballard’s Gather Kitchen & Bar for individual and family meals, along with bottles of red, white and sparkling wine; or Eden Hill Provisions for Easter brunch, complete with a Bloody Marry kit and dyed hard-boiled eggs. Prices vary. Orders must be placed by 4/10.

Cadence: Video Poetry Festival
(4/15-4/19) In honor of National Poetry Month, and the cancellation of the in-person Cadence festival, tune in online for a series of video poetry screenings, or stop by the window of Common Area Maintenance downtown to catch a selection of video poems visible and audible from the sidewalk. (Weekdays) Seattle Public Library is helping caregivers keep little ones occupied with virtual story time for babies and toddlers. Tune in on Facebook for stories, songs, and interactive family fun. Times vary. Free.

Movin’ Around the World: Virtual!
(4/13-4/17) Norwest Folklife and the Seattle Center have collaborated to move this celebration of music, dance and culture online. Join in for several days of artists showcasing their work through videos, including Spanish Flamenco with Seattle’s Ana Montes and old timey tunes with Charmaine Slaven. Dance Fitness
