(6/29, 11 a.m.) — Deck yourself in rainbows or just come as you are for the 40th anniversary of the Seattle Pride Parade. The rich pageant—led by grand marshal George Takei!—parties down Fourth Avenue, from Union Street to Denny Way. Shenanigans begin at 11 a.m.

The South Park Bridge Grand Opening
Sunday (6/29, 12 to 9 p.m.) — After the 1931 version closed due to unstable conditions, the newly constructed (and better than ever!) South Park Bridge is back, complete with historic railing panels, gears, light posts and more reused items from the original. Revel in all its majestic glory with a parade, street party and guided tours.
