Seattle Seahawks strong safety #23 Jeron Johnson is now in his fourth season with our Super Bowl-winning team. Johnson had eight tackles this preseason and was mic’d up during the August 16 Seahawks/Broncos game. (Skip to around 1:52 for his sound bites during warm-up and to see the former Boise State player’s high energy–not to mention humor–on the field.)

In an effort to better know all the members on our favorite team, we asked Johnson to name the top 10 things he loves to do in Seattle when he’s not on the field. Then we made up an 11th one and threw it in the mix just to see if you could figure out which one of these is not like the other. Follow Jeron on Instagram at @Jus_showoff and on Twitter here. Go Hawks!

Seattle’s Drag Brunch Has History

The city’s Sunday shows started long before the mimosas got bottomless.

There was a time not too long ago, when drag performances—now a mainstay of Seattle’s queer scene—were kept under wraps. And when brunches, complete with singing and dancing queens dressed in dazzling drag as you sipped mimosas, weren’t a Sunday staple.  During the 1940s and ‘50s, an era largely shaped by restrictive laws and bias…
